Despite the craft and artistry it takes to produce a piece of theatre, many within the church still see the theatrical arts (and the arts in general) as a simple diversion rather than a vital component of our corporate worship. "Please Don't Call It a Skit" is the first section of a larger essay exploring the need for vibrant theatrical arts in our life together as Christians.
