A Preface thumbnail I wonder how many Bible Commentaries there are out there, how many books written to examine and break down the scriptures piece by and piece and verse by verse. Countless scholars have tackled scriptural research and have attempted to pass along their insights to other Christians. I don’t really see this as a contradiction; I think it’s more of an amplification, a closer look at the previous passage. The act of creation was the focal point of the first section. The creation of man is the focal point of this second section. Here, we almost gloss over the creation of the rest of the world and instead turn our attention to the way God created mankind and the purposes man was created for. We were created in the image of God. We were created to help bring order to his creation. (Posted 07/24/2006)
